Since 1992, Sultan's has been Queensland's most enduring Turkish dining destination. For many years, we were a beloved staple in Sandgate, known for our warm, family-friendly atmosphere and authentic cuisine, before closing our iconic doors in 2020 to make way for local development.
Our journey began over three decades ago with a simple family dream: to bring the true flavors of Turkey to the heart of Queensland. Today, we have reopened in Coopers Plains, bringing with us the same traditional methods and family recipes that made us a Sandgate landmark.
We remain committed to our roots, using natural charcoal grills to impart that unmistakable smoky flavor that defines our cuisine. From our famous Iskender Kebab to our succulent shish, every dish is prepared with the same love and attention to detail that has earned us the title of Queensland's oldest Turkish restaurant.

I recently tried Turkish food, including chicken shish and kebabs, and it was an amazing experience. The chicken shish was perfectly grilled—tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor.
